Students wore glow sticks while doing their warm up laps to "thriller"
Students "trick or treated" at houses. Instead of candy, they were given dice; they rolled to see how many exercises they needed to complete. Push up house, jumping jack house, squat house etc.
Students used their memory skills to find ghost hidden under cones. For this activity we used different locomotor skills as well as playing in the dark.
There were 3 slime sticks (tagging sticks), 3 ghost buster van drivers (hula hoops). If the students were tagged they would freeze and call "ghost busters!" The driver would place the hula hoop over their head and then they would be set free. Of course, we needed to listen the song "ghost busters" while we were playing:)
